One of
my biggest enjoyments in recent years has
been to take pictures of my family, my friends, acquaintances, cars, bugs,
flowers, motorcycles etc.
It
is my pleasure to share these pictures with you at a resolution higher than you
would normally find on a website. Should you wish to save a picture to your
computer, simply use your mouse to place the pointer on the picture, click the
“right” mouse button and choose “SAVE PICTURE AS” then “SAVE” and voila, you
have it. If there’s any “one” picture you’d like to see, find the corresponding
thumbnail (small picture), click on it and it’ll show up. Each picture gives
you 5 seconds viewing time.
If your Internet
connection is obtained by a dial-up ISP, these high-resolution pictures take
longer to appear on your screen. To enhance your viewing pleasure there is a
way around this and this is what to do. . . . .Once you start the slide show of
your choice, DON’T WATCH IT NOW. Instead, go do
the dishes or the laundry or go paint the outhouse. Return after all the
pictures have gone through once, then sit down and enjoy as the pictures will
change from one to the next instantaneously. If the music annoys, simply turn
down the volume.
To minimize the need to
move things around as you watch, set your DISPLAY RESOLUTION to its highest
level. It’s easy and if you wish, you can lower it again when you finish.
Click on
“START” then “CONTROL PANEL” then “DISPLAY” then “SETTINGS” then move the slide
tab toward the right to the highest resolution. Click on “Apply” then “Yes”
then “OK”
Click the “F11” key on your keyboard for full-page
display
